Voicing – Reflective Writing for Women
Voicing offers structured spaces for women to engage with writing as reflection and articulation. Two formats are available:
Structured Online Cohort
A closed group journey that builds progressively through themes of memory, experience, voice, and narrative.
These spaces do not focus on certification but on thoughtful practice, articulation, and attentive listening.
Teacher Development
IALA designs literacy and language development programs for educators seeking depth, clarity, and practical applicability in their classrooms.
Rather than offering one-size-fits-all training, each program is thoughtfully designed for specific cohorts and institutional contexts. Whether working with early years teachers, primary educators, or interdisciplinary teams, our sessions are grounded in classroom realities and informed by literacy pedagogy.
Offerings Include:
- Literacy & Language Development Webinars
Focused sessions that introduce key concepts in reading, writing, and language instruction, designed for schools and educator networks seeking conceptual clarity and practical insight. - Short-Term Workshops
Intensive modules (half-day or full-day) exploring areas such as child-led literacy, writing instruction, reflective classroom practices, and integrating language across subjects. - Structured Training Programs
Multi-session training engagements tailored to a school’s academic goals. These programs combine theory, demonstration, discussion, and implementation planning to support sustainable instructional change.
All programs are cohort-specific and collaboratively designed in consultation with institutional leadership to ensure relevance and alignment.

Workshops
Women on the Road
A focused workshop designed to explore movement, transition, and lived journeys through writing. Participants engage with carefully crafted prompts that invite reflection on personal paths, inner shifts, and the landscapes — literal and metaphorical — that shape their stories.
This workshop is suitable for adult learners seeking a guided yet open space to explore narrative in relation to travel, change, and personal direction.
